Amy's fitness journey began in high school, where she discovered her love of running. She continued running by competing on the cross-country and track teams at Elon University through all four years of college. After college, she took up marathons and discovered the importance of cross-training. With its unique ability to target all of those hard-to-work muscle groups, combined with the fact that it is low-impact, Amy found that barre was the perfect compliment to her fitness regimen. Soon, barre grew from practical training option to second passion and she sought her teaching certification to share the benefits of barre with others.
Amy has spent almost her entire professional life in management at Hair Club, (yes, THAT Hair Club, and yes, she's also a client).
When she's not working or working out, she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, preferably while watching their beloved Ravens.
